'Farm in the Sky' at Brooklyn Fireproof Roof Party

EcoStation NY is showing off its roof farm on the top of Brooklyn Fireproof at 119 Ingraham St. with free farming lessons and music.

At 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. staff from EcoStation are leading tours and workshops at the farm, at 8 p.m. they're offering "Farm in the Sky" drink specials and inviting everyone to bring instruments to partake in a "farmers' market jam band," and at 9 p.m. downstairs in the gallery live bluegrass act Jumbo Brown and then DJ Poncho are playing music.

Food prepared from the roof's ingredients will also be served, and an art show will be held in the space.
