The New York Times describes Berkeley's voice as a combination of Tim Buckley and Nick Drake. His songs are both full of melancholy and warmth. Berkeley writes his own songs and is known as a "romantic realist" by music critics. 

He is supported by NewSong, an independent music organization that works to identify and promote exceptional artists. 

Berkeley will perform on the Frieda and Roy Furman Stage at the David Rubenstein Atrium.
