Restaurateur, chef and author, Maricel Presilla, gives her take on the cultural and culinary development of Latino food in New York. The discussion, tasting and cooking demonstration will cover food from countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Cuba and Guatemala. Culinary Conversations, a monthly series run by the Tenement Museum, explores the vibrant food life of immigrant New York, both past and present. Tickets are $30.
