It's "Cat Friday" at the ASPCA Adoption Center on East 92nd Street. All felines more than a year old will have their adoption fees waived.

New cat owners will receive a free cat collar and ID tag, a cardboard carrier for safe travels home, and a surprise gift to help get the holidays started with their new family. They will also receive a certificate for a free vet visit within two weeks of adoption at the ASPCA's Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital on the Upper East Side.

All ASPCA pets are spayed and neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped, the organization said.
