Big City Fishing at TriBeCa's Pier 25 offers an introduction to the species that live in the Hudson River and then teaches the basics of fishing. Participants can also view plankton under a microscope. All fish that are caught are released back into the river. The program is free and is appropriate for children as young as 5 years old.
