Learn what it takes to be an independent rap artist and entrepreneur in today's music industry at "The Hustle," the latest installment to the Brooklyn Historical Society's monthly "Inventing Brooklyn" series.

Rapper Sean Price, DJ Evil Dee and producer Jason Lampkin will be on-hand to talk candidly about the music business, and explore rap's deep roots in Brooklyn.

The program starts at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brooklyn Historical Society, located at 128 Pierrepont St. in Brooklyn Heights.

Tickets cost $8 for Brooklyn Historical Society members, and $10 for non-members.
