On Nov. 27, Astoria Bookshop is inviting book lovers to join Jen Adams, Astoria resident and author of "The Books They Gave Me," at Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden.

Adams, along with a bookseller from WORD, will talk about the art of giving books this holiday season.

In "The Books They Gave Me," Jen Adams has collected 200 stories about books received from loved ones.

The event starts at 7 pm.
