The National Park Service's Army Heritage Day celebrates 200 years of history on Governors Island with living history demonstrations, displays of historic weapons, games and other events for children. The NPS is also highlighting the reopening of Castle Williams, the historic fort on Governors Island, which was closed for nearly three years of renovations. Free.
