Hal Danziger

Hal Danziger is the Chief Technology Officer at DNAinfo.com, where he is responsible for the dnainfo.com and neighborhoodsquare.com web sites.

Hal was previously VP of Digital Platforms at Condé Nast, where he focused on current and next generation product offerings across the fragmented device landscape, including Condé Nast’s web sites and digital magazines. Hal also drove cross-brand initiatives, focused on community and social platforms, e-commerce, content management and content licensing.

Prior to joining Condé Nast, Hal was the CTO at New York Magazine and Menupages, helping the brands move from a strong digital presence to a top digital presence, gathering numerous awards for it’s suite of web sites and mobile apps, and helping to build a profitable digital business.

Hal has also held technology and product leadership roles at CBS, Cablevision, and other companies, providing expertise in all areas of digital product and technology including advertising, content management, video and social.

Hal received his M.S. in Technology Management from Columbia University, and B.S. in Computer Science at Stony Brook University.

Fun fact: In 2004, Hal was quoted in a PC World article after buying early access to Google’s Gmail service on eBay.
