National Account Executive, DNAinfo New York

DNAinfo New-york is looking for an exceptional sales professional to build and manage the account base of national and image accounts in our New York office. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of digital advertising, have a history working with multiple NYC advertising agencies and be comfortable calling on senior level clients. This position requires an individual who is able to work independently, must be able to source leads, uncover untapped revenue and spearhead the image/national account growth at New York. He or she must have the drive and self-discipline needed to sell both ROS advertising and larger sponsorship programs and initiatives. He or she must be top notch in closing new business.


Analyze competitive space. Be well versed on the competition and how they impact DNAinfo in the marketplace. Create, maintain and grow pipeline of new business across multiple categories. Develop overall strategy for reaching revenue goals. Evangelize DNAinfo's message to the NYC agency community. Work closely with management and marketing teams to achieve desired goals.

Desired Skills & Experience Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or higher
5 + years advertising sales experience
Digital experience with an emphasis on agency sales
Strong verbal/written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Highly developed client solution selling skills
Good time management skills
Hunter and Closer Mentality
Team player a must.

The National Accounts Manager will report to's Sales Director and a management team in New York.
