By Aidan Gardiner | October 2, 2017 10:37am

BROOKLYN — A motorcyclist died when he slammed into the side of a turning car in Ocean Hill and was thrown from his bike Sunday afternoon, police said.

Anthony Nelson, 49, of Flatbush, was speeding his Kawasaki north on Ralph Avenue when he reached Park Place and hit the back passenger side door of a turning Honda SUV about 4:40 p.m., NYPD officials said.

The SUV driver had been turning left onto Park Place and both vehicles had the green light, police said.

Nelson was flung from his bike and suffered severe injuries to his head and body, police said. He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital, police said.

The SUV driver, a 59-year-old woman, stayed at the scene and wasn't immediately arrested, police said.

Police are still investigating the crash.
