MANHATTAN — A man was slashed by a gloved attacker in broad daylight Thursday, according to police.
The man was attacked by another man wearing black gloves at 158 W. 29 St. near Seventh Avenue at about 5:47 p.m., an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition, FDNY officials said.
Police were looking for a suspect who is about 6-foot-2 and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, red sneakers and gloves.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the assault.
