TIMES SQUARE — A tourist from Utah was arrested Monday morning after police say he sucker punched and kicked a Long Island man on Seventh Avenue, police said.

Dane Westmoreland, 31, pummeled the 53-year-old victim near West 44th Street about 7:30 a.m., the NYPD said.

When police arrived, Westmoreland flailed his arms and kicked his legs before officers finally subdued him, the NYPD said.

He was charged with assault and resisting arrest, according to police.

The victim, of Merrick, Long Island, was taken to Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital where he was treated for facial bruising and swelling, police said.
