MIDTOWN — Dozens of people were injured when a water taxi crashed into a Hudson River pier Friday afternoon, according to the FDNY.
The boat rammed into the Pier 79 at West 41st Street at about 4:08 p.m., injuring 30 passengers, an FDNY spokesman said.
The riders suffered minor to serious injuries, though none were considered life threatening.
It was not immediately clear what led to the collision.
