PARK SLOPE — Police are investigating the rape claim of a woman whose boyfriend was charged with fatally stabbing a man who filmed her having sex with another man, according to her lawyer and the NYPD.

Investigators initially said the woman became upset during a consensual threesome in an apartment on 16th Street near Seventh Avenue when Manos Ikonomidis, 20, began filming her with his phone. She demanded to be taken home and called her boyfriend to tell him she had been raped, according to an earlier narrative put out by authorities.

But her lawyer told DNAinfo New York that the woman told police from the start that the sex act was forcible.

"It was not consensual," attorney Joseph Mure Jr. said. "She told police that she'd been raped."

Police confirmed that they are investigating the rape claim by the woman, whose boyfriend Christopher Membreno, 24, became enraged at the news and drove to the apartment building with Gabriel Dos Santos, 24, and one other person.

The trio confronted Ikonomidis as he left the building and beat and stabbed him to death, police said.

Mure Jr. said that the woman has provided few details to the public because she could be forced to testify against her boyfriend for the murder of Ikonomidis.

"She's cooperated with SVU," Mure Jr. said. "She feels terrible about everyone involved. She's having a very difficult time. It was never her intention to have anyone murdered or hurt."
