INWOOD — A man opened fire after an argument in front of the 21 Bar Sunday morning, striking his victim in the hip, police said.

The suspect, who was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and a black cap with a red and white logo, shot the victim in front of 4318 Broadway near 184th Street after exchanging a few words inside the restaurant, police said.

Sources said the two men entered 21 Bar at the same time prior to the shooting, and were then asked to leave by management after they started arguing. The two then went back inside the restaurant, claiming to have lost a cellphone, and left again, continuing the fight outside until the suspect opened fire.

The 22-year-old victim, who police said had 15 prior arrests, was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. Details on the nature of his prior arrests were not immediately available.
