QUEENS — A thief held up a Metro PCS at gunpoint, stealing $100 from the clerk's pockets and the store's register in Kew Gardens Hills Saturday, NYPD officials said.

The robber had a friend wait outside as a lookout before going into the shop at 75-25 Parsons Boulevard to pose as a customer about 5:15 p.m., police said.

Video shows the man then clutch a handgun to his chest while demanding cash from the 65-year-old clerk, who handed over money from his own pockets and the cash register, police said.

The suspect and his lookout fled south on Parsons Boulevard, police said. They hadn't been arrested as of Monday morning, police said.

The suspect was last seen wearing a hoodie with the word "king" written across the chest with dark pants and sunglasses, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
