Woman Distracts Man While Accomplice Attacks Him From Behind, Police Say

PORT RICHMOND — Police are looking for a man and a woman who attacked a man on Albion Place and took his wallet with $800 cash.

The 44-year-old victim was in front of 107 Albion Place, near Port Richmond Avenue, on April 24 when a woman approached him shortly after midnight, the NYPD said. She distracted him while a man came up from behind the victim and knocked him to the ground.

The male suspect displayed a knife and the pair punched and kicked the victim while he was on the ground, police said. The duo swiped his wallet with $800 cash and credit cards inside.

The man fled eastbound on Albion Place while the woman fled westbound, police said.

The woman is between 20 to 25 years old with blonde hair who was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and black boots, police said.

The male suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black hooded jacket, black pants and black sneakers.
