UPPER WEST SIDE — A man suffered serious head injuries after walking into a moving 1 train on the platform of the 96th Street station, officials said.
Paramedics found the man conscious and breathing with head trauma on the train platform Sunday afternoon, the NYPD said.
EMTs rushed him to St. Luke's Hospital in serious condition, an FDNY spokesperson said.
MTA service resumed quickly after the incident, an MTA spokesman said.
