Powerful winds whipped across New York City during the morning commute on Thursday. The wind knocked down a tree and caused major problems on the B and Q lines. It shut down part of the High Line.
It also lit up Twitter:
I'm feeling very victimized by this wind in NYC today

If the wind conditions are just right, one might catch a glimpse of the rare trash tree pic.twitter.com/3GcPDzlMGz

The wind is so bad in FIDI, I just watched a news crew film a man helping a old lady into the building so she wouldn't get blown away

The wind comes after it was 70 degrees in Central Park Wednesday. On Friday, the snow is coming which means by the weekend we'll have felt pretty much every late-winter weather emotion possible.
Happy March!
