CRIME BLOTTER: $1,500 in Hair Extensions Stolen From Flatbush Ave. Shop

PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — Police are looking for two people wanted for stealing 20 packages of hair extensions from a Flatbush Avenue variety store, NYPD officials said.

A 38-year-old worker at the 717 Flatbush Ave. shop said the two people, a man and a woman, entered her shop just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, took the bundles of hair from a shelf and fled without paying.

The pair then jumped in a black Honda Civic with Pennsylvania plates and fled east on Parkside Avenue, police said.

The worker estimated the hair is worth approximately $1,500 in total. No suspects have yet been identified in the theft.
