QUEENS — Police are looking for a would-be burglar who cut a hole in the roof of a Rego Park deli and used a rope to slip inside, police said.

The suspect, who was wearing a black mask, entered the store at 9622 Queens Blvd. about 5 a.m. on Friday, authorities said.

Shortly after he slipped from the roof inside the deli, which is next to the former Wiggles gentleman's club near the 63rd Drive subway station, he was confronted by the owner who was just opening the store, officials said.

The suspect then shimmied up the rope and fled without taking anything, according to the NYPD.
