BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A man swiped a cellphone and a credit card from a Nostrand Avenue fish market last week, police said.

The suspect entered Sea House Fish at 541 Nostrand Ave. near Herkimer Place around 2 p.m. on Jan. 17, and asked to use the bathroom, according to officials.

Police released video on Tuesday showing the man reaching behind the counter. He took off with an employee’s iPhone and credit card, police said.

Officials describe the thief as approximately six feet tall, weighing 250 pounds, and wearing a black skull cap, black jacket, black shirt, black pants, and black and white sneakers.

A manager at Sea House was immediately available to provide details of the crime.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or to submit their tips at the Crime Stoppers website.
