UPPER EAST SIDE — A Bronx man was arrested after punching and breaking the windshield of a woman who honked at him on the Queensboro Bridge this week, police said.

Edwin Gonzalez, 30, was standing in the street on the corner of Second Avenue and the Queensboro Bridge exit on Monday at 10:15 a.m. taking photos of his car — which had been involved in a minor crash — when a 44-year-old woman in a Nissan minivan with her 11-year-old son honked at him, police said.

Gonzalez reacted by punching the windshield in front of the child, shattering the glass and causing $200 in damage, and started cursing and yelling at them, according to authorities.

Police did not know what he yelled at them.

Gonzalez was arraigned on charges of acting in a manner injurious to a child, criminal mischief, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, and released with a desk appearance ticket, according to authorities.
