By Aidan Gardiner | January 9, 2017 10:59am

THE BRONX — Three men knocked an 83-year-old victim to the ground and punched and kicked him before running off with $240, police said.

In video released by police Sunday night, one of the suspects runs up behind the elderly man and knocks him over with a punch on Macombs Road about 9 p.m. Friday, officials said. Police didn't provide a cross street.

Once on the ground, all three suspects surround the man while punching and kicking him, video shows.

They fled with his wallet which had $240 and credit cards, police said.

The victim was treated for bruises at an area hospital, police said.

The victims were all about 5-foot-7 and wore dark hoodies with light-colored sweat pants, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
