CLIFTON — Police who searched a man's Clifton home found heroin and marijuana, prosecutors said.
Officers executing a search warrant at Oscar Javier's Waverly Place home on Dec. 9 found 60 envelopes of heroin on Javier and another three in the home, all stamped with the name "Black Jack," according to a criminal complaint.
Officers also found marijuana in a refrigerator in the home, prosecutors said.
Javier, 40, was arrested and charged with drug possession at his arraignment, the Staten Island District Attorney's office said.
His bail was set at $35,000, according to online court records.
Javier previously spent time in prison in 2002 and 2006 for attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance, according to the state Department of Corrections.
His lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
