CROWN HEIGHTS — A 27-year-old woman was arrested this week for beating an employee at Checkers after he mistakenly put tomatoes on her burger, police said.

The woman went to the fast-food restaurant at 43 Empire Blvd. in Crown Heights at 1:20 p.m. on Nov. 30. When she ordered, the woman started arguing with a 24-year-old employee, saying “I don’t want tomatoes in my burger,” police said.

She then started swinging an umbrella, hitting the worker on the head and neck multiple times, causing pain and swelling.
