VIDEO: 1 Dead, 1 Injured After Shooting on Bronx Street Corner, Police Say

THE BRONX — One man was killed and another hospitalized after a shooting on a Bronx street corner, police said.

Joseph Jimenez, 22, was found at the corner of Walton Avenue and Rockwood Street about 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 with multiple gunshot wounds to the head, police said.

He was rushed to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

A second victim, an unidentified 21-year-old man, was shot in the leg and walked to Bronx Lebanon, police later learned. He was treated and is in stable condition, according to the NYPD.

Video shows the suspect in the homicide, who officers described as a man in his late teens to early 20s, running down a sidewalk.
