MANHATTAN — A gunman who's already behind bars was charged Thursday for fatally shooting an aspiring rapper outside the Lillian Wald Houses in February 2015, police said.

Shaquille Fuller, now 22, shot Shemrod Isaac, a 33-year-old who performed under the moniker Sham Da God, four times outside 20 Avenue D, near East Third Street, about 4:30 p.m. Feb. 23, NYPD officials said.

Fuller was arrested three days later in Irvington, New Jersey, but charged with a Dec. 12, 2014 incident in which he tried to fatally shoot another man outside the Lillian Wald Houses, police said.

Fuller, who lives in the Wald houses, was remanded back into custody and is being held on Rikers Island without bail, records show. He's due back in court on Oct. 5, records show.

He wasn't charged with Isaac's death until Thursday when the NYPD re-arrested him and charged him with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

He was still awaiting arraignment Thursday evening.

It wasn't immediately clear why he's now being charged with Isaac's death.

Fuller has been arrested three other times but those records are sealed, an NYPD spokesman said.
