FLUSHING — A man accused of grabbing and squeezing an 8-year-old boy inside Bowne Playground told the boy's mother he "liked to do this" and threatened to hurt her if she called the police, according to the Queens District Attorney's office.

Zuomin Wang, 60, was arraigned Tuesday for acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17 after he picked up the boy and squeezed his chest inside the Bowne Playground at Union Street between Sanford Avenue and Barclay Street on July 14, police said.

When the boy ran to his mom to tell her what happened, she screamed at Wang and snapped a photo of him with her cell phone, according to the criminal complaint.

He then told her he "liked to do this" and said he would hurt her if she called the police.

Wang lives in Flushing and has no prior arrests, police said. He was released without bail and is due back in court on Sept. 22.

Information for Wang's lawyer was not immediately available.
