WILLIAMSBURG — You can't even trust your neighbors these days.

A Williamsburg resident's $1,400 stroller was stolen from the hallway of her South 1st Street building when it was left briefly unattended, according to police.

Movers who were bringing furniture into the apartment had rolled the stroller into the hallway to get it out of the way on July 18 at around 3 p.m., police said.

But the "versatile, light and compact" Bugaboo Cameleon stroller, equipped for "multi-terrain," as it's described on the company's website, proved ripe for the taking. The 34-year-old owner soon realized it was missing.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests had been made, police confirmed.
