Live at the Top of a Marriott Hotel in Queens Plaza for $2,570 a Month

LONG ISLAND CITY — Want to live like you're always on vacation? 

More than 100 luxury apartments will open next month at the the Aurora, a new rental project located on the top floors of a 30-story Marriott hotel in Queens, according to the owners.

The residences — a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes — are located on the 15th to 29th stories of the glassy 160-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel that opened this spring on Queens Plaza North and 29th Street.

Rents will start at $2,570 for one-bedrooms, $3,650 for two-bedrooms and $5,100 for the three-bedroom units, according to to Douglas Elliman, which is leasing the units on behalf of developer G. Holdings.

The apartments have their own entrance and lobby separate from the hotel, and the units have floor-to-ceiling windows, oak wood floors and dishwashers, according to a press release.

On the 30th floor above the units is the "Aurora Sky Lounge," filled with amenities for tenants, including a fitness center, lounge and roof deck. Residents will also have access to bike storage, regular storage and a catering kitchen, the developer said.

"This project was very thoughtfully designed and offers luxurious and spacious apartments," Etai Gross, a principal at G. Holdings.

Leasing is now open for the 123 apartments, which will be available for tenants to move into starting Aug. 1.
