KIPS BAY — The Trader Joe’s coming to Third Avenue is set to open in August and is hiring for all positions, according to employees at the store.
The new market, located at East 32nd Street and Third Avenue, is accepting applications from hopeful hires Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to employees managing the staffing drive.
The store is set to open the first week in August, an employee said.
The new Trader Joe’s will replace a Food Emporium that shut its doors in January 2015, a loss that was compounded when the D’Agostino’s at East 35th Street and Third Avenue closed in April.
