There are 16 studios for $788 a month, 16 one-bedroom units for $847 a month and nine two-bedrooms for $1,025 a month at 261 Hudson St.

The studios are available to people who earn between $28,355 and $38,100, while the one-bedrooms are available to single people making between $30,412 and $38,100 per year and couples making $30,412 to $43,500 a year.

Families of two, three or four with incomes of at least $36,549 are eligible for the two-bedrooms if they make less than $43,500, $48,960 and $54,360 respectively.

People who live in Manhattan's Community Board 2 get preferential consideration for 50 percent of the units, and city employees for 5 percent of the units. Percentages are also reserved for mobility-disabled and vision or hearing-disabled New Yorkers.

Amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby and roof terrace — and, for additional fees, access to a library, gym, party room, internet lounge and courtyard.
