LONGWOOD — Police have released new video in the recent South Bronx murder of a Pennsylvania teenager who was visiting the borough.

Elwin Coste, 17, and a 21-year-old man were shot in front of Coste's grandfather's place at 1041 Tiffany St. around 3:30 a.m. on June 18 and taken to Lincoln Hospital, where Coste died of his injuries.

Police are searching for two male suspects in the homicide who were last seen wearing a light-colored hooded sweater with an Adidas logo on its chest and sleeve and a blue shirt with a red patch on its sleeve.

Video shows both suspects walking down the sidewalks at 950 Westchester Ave. and 957 Kelly St. before the murder and one suspect in front of 1085 Intervale Ave. after the murder, police said.

A GoFundMe page was set up after Coste's death in memory of him and to help raise money for his funeral. The fundraising campaign has so far raised $6,010 of its $12,000 goal.

Donators to the fundraiser have been extremely complimentary of Coste, describing him as "a very sweet and respectful young man" and saying that God has gained an angel.

The 21-year-old who was with Coste when they were shot is a friend of someone dating Coste's mother, and the motive for the homicide is still unclear, police said.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the crime stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES), then entering TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
