COLUMBUS CIRCLE — A man tried to record under a woman’s miniskirt with his phone inside the Time Warner Center, police and a complaint filed with the Manhattan District Attorney’s office said.

A police officer patrolling the building at 10 Columbus Circle around 5 p.m. on June 15 saw Randolp Beers, 29, stand behind a woman in a miniskirt, reach under the woman’s skirt with his phone in his hand and try to record under her skirt, the DA’s office said.

After the woman walked away, Beers followed behind her and kept recording, the complaint said.

The police officer arrested Beers, who was charged with attempted unlawful surveillance, the DA’s office said.

The officer saw a video of the woman on Beers’ phone, but the woman moved away “before [Beers] was actually able to record up her skirt,” the complaint said.

Beers was released on $5,000 bail the next day and is expected to appear in court on August 11, the DA’s office said.

Beers' attorney did not respond to request for comment.
