VINEGAR HILL — A 29-year-old man died Saturday, three days after he was shot in the head outside the Farragut Houses, police said Tuesday.
Luis Villot was shot just before 6:30 p.m. on June 15 in front of 192 Sands Street, where he lived, according to the NYPD.
Emergency responders took Villot to Methodist Hospital where he was died three days later, police said.
Police say they have identified a person of interest in the case. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
