THE BRONX — A Castle Hill woman was killed in a hit-and-run collision in The Bronx early Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.
Sharon Smith, 67, was crossing East Gun Hill Road at White Plains Road at about 1:19 a.m. when a dark-colored SUV heading east struck her, police said.
The driver then fled east on Gun Hill Road.
Smith, who lived in Castle Hill, was transported to Montefiore Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
