Snag an $865 Studio Apartment in the North Bronx

OLINVILLE — A total of 63 new affordable apartments are coming up for grabs in the North Bronx, with prices starting as low as $865 for a studio.

Webster Commons E, located at 3556 Webster Ave., will contain 23 studio apartments for $865 a month, nine one-bedroom apartments for $929 a month and 31 two-bedroom apartments for $1,121 a month.

The units will be available for households making between $30,995 and $54,360 per year.

A percentage of apartments will be set aside for eligible members of Bronx Community Board 12, city employees and people with mobility, visual and hearing disabilities.

The building is being constructed through the Housing Development Corporation's Low-Income Affordable Marketplace Program, and the application process will run from June 6 until Aug. 5. Applications will be selected for review via lottery after the deadline passes.

Prospective tenants can submit their applications online at nyc.gov/housingconnect or request an application via mail by sending a self-addressed envelope to Webster Commons E, 87-14 116th St., Richmond Hill, NY 11418.
