Man Punched by Robber While Using iPhone Outside Iron Horse Bar, NYPD Says

FINANCIAL DISTRICT  — A man who was on his iPhone after stepping out of the Iron Horse bar was punched in the face by a stranger who then took his phone, police said.

The victim was using his phone outside the 32 Cliff St. bar at about 3:40 a.m. on Sunday when a man approached him and walloped him in the face, before snatching his phone, according to police.

The robber then fled down the street.
