DOWNTOWN BROOKYLN — A Downtown Brooklyn Sephora was hit twice in one week by thieves looking to get their hands on cosmetics, police said.

A group of three men first raided the store, at 210 Joralemon St., around 6 p.m. on May 14, taking 23 bottles of Chanel perfume worth $2,440, the NYPD said. The suspects then fled the store on foot, police said.

No arrests have been made.

Another would-be thief struck the same Sephora later that week, according to police.

The 23-year-old female suspect tried to walk out of the store without paying for 35 miscellaneous makeup products worth $1,078, police said.

She was arrested and the makeup was returned to the store, police said.

A manager at Sephora declined to comment.
