Man Gropes Woman in Jackson Heights Store, NYPD Says

JACKSON HEIGHTS — Police say a man groped a woman inside a store last week after approaching her on Roosevelt Avenue.

The suspect allegedly walked into a store near 74th Street at around 4:30 a.m. on May 17, and approached a 46-year-old woman, according to the NYPD.

He grabbed her groin over her pants and fled.

Police described him as 25 to 35-years-old, between 5'6" and 5'10" tall and between 160 and 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a grey sweater, red tank top, brown jeans, black sneakers, a green camouflage hat and a red backpack, according to police.
