MIDTOWN — A passenger on the E train rubbed up against a 16-year-old girl as she rode the train to school, the NYPD said.

The High School of Art and Design student was standing on a northbound E train near the Fifth Avenue/53rd Street station around 7:30 a.m. on May 11,  when she felt a man she didn’t know rub up against her, she told police.

The teen was able to get away when she and other passengers, including the suspect, began exiting the train at the Lexington Avenue/53rd Street stop, police said.

She told a transit worker at the station what had happened, but police who responded to the station weren’t able to find the man, the NYPD said.
