BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — Not OK, Cupid.
Police in the 84th Precinct are investigating after a woman threatened to publish a nude video of a 23-year-old Brooklyn Heights man she met on OKCupid if he didn’t send her $2,000, they said.
The man was using Skype to video chat with the woman, also 23 and who lives in the Philippines, around 5 a.m. on May 15 from his apartment on Pierrepont Street in Brooklyn Heights, according to the NYPD.
Police said the man exposed himself in the video. The woman then demanded the man send her $2,000, or she would post the video to YouTube and send it to all of his friends on Facebook, police said.
The suspect refused, and the woman asked for $400 instead, according to police.
Instead of sending the money, the man reported the incident to the police.
Police did not give further information on the incident and said the investigation is ongoing.
