HUNTS POINT — Police have released a sketch of one of the suspects wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in the South Bronx.

The homicide took place on Wednesday morning around 6 a.m., when 37-year-old Jose Ingles, who was likely in the area looking for a prostitute, pulled up to a bodega near Faile Street and Spofford Avenue, police said.

A woman in the car with Ingles got out and went into the store, and two men then approached the vehicle, one on each side, according to the NYPD.

The suspect on the driver's side shot Ingles, and both men then fled the scene, police said.

Officers believe the murder was a targeted killing, not a random attack.

The sketch shows a man with a thin mustache wearing a black hat.
