WILLIAMSBURG — The community finally gets a chance to weigh in on the MTA's plan to either shutdown or dramatically limit service on the L train between Brooklyn and Manhattan, nearly four months since the news leaked.

Thursday night's meeting at the Marcy Avenue Armory, located at 355 Marcy Ave., will feature engineering personnel from the MTA to answer crowd questions, explain the extent of the damage done to the Canarsie Tube during Hurricane Sandy, which connects Manhattan and Brooklyn along the L line, and offer detailed explanations of the options that are being considered for repairs.

We'll be bringing you live updates throughout the night.

DNAinfo reporters Ben Fractenberg and Gwynne Hogan will be bringing you live updates from the meeting.
