BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A 32-year-old deli customer suffered burns to his chest after a man threw hot coffee on him during a scuffle at a Bedford-Stuyvesant deli, police said.

The two got into a dispute inside Jabran Gourmet Deli at 994 Bedford Ave. and DeKalb Avenue around 11 a.m. on April 19, officials said.

The suspect, who was caught on camera, is seen filling his cup at a self-serve coffee machine as the victim stands next to him. He tosses the cup at the victim, who suffered burns and blistering on his chest, an NYPD spokesman said.

It’s unclear what started the argument.

Later in the video, the suspect is seen wiping off his left forearm as someone cleans up items that have been scattered all over the ground including bananas, deli items and other goods.

He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a black T-shirt, black shorts, black sneakers, and a black backpack, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
