MANHATTAN — First Lady Michelle Obama will join dozens of celebrities at the Harlem Armory on Tuesday to encourage high school students to pursue college.

Obama is set to address 4,000 students at the 1 W. 142nd St. armory near 5th Avenue beginning at 3 p.m., joined by a star-studded entourage including Saturday Night Live's Sasheer Zamata, actress Melissa McCarthy and Eataly's Mario Batali.

Actress Allison Williams, Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bradie Gene James and cornerback Brandon Carr; and chef Tom Colicchio will also make appearances, according to a White House press release.

The Gregory Brothers, Jay Pharoah and College Humor performers will showcase “Go To College," a music video College Humor produced with the First Lady in December.

The outreach is part of the First Lady's Reach a Higher Initiative, which connects students to scholarship and educational counseling programs.

Tuesday's event is one of more than 1,000 College Signing Day events that will be happening in almost every state this year, according to the release.
