Man Fires Shot Into Crowd After Fight on Jackson Heights Corner, NYPD Says

JACKSON HEIGHTS — Police are searching for a man who fired a shot into a group of people after a fight in a busy intersection, police said. 

Two groups of men got into an argument with each other at the corner of 37th Avenue and 74th Street around 10:40 p.m. on April 16, according to two witnesses who spoke to police.

A man from one of the groups displayed a gun and fired one shot into the rival group, police said.

No one was injured, and both groups fled, according to the NYPD. 

The alleged gunman was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, black jeans, and an orange and blue jacket, police said. He wears his hair in a long ponytail.
