PROSPECT PARK — The Brooklyn-based rock band Grizzly Bear is headlining a free “Get Out the Vote” concert for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders in Prospect Park Sunday — two days before the April 19 New York primary, the campaign announced this week.

The rally and performance will take place on the east side of the park near the Boathouse, organizers said. In addition to Grizzly Bear, Danny DeVito and Justin Long will make appearances at the event, the campaign said, along with Hawaiian Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, a frequent Sanders campaigner.

The event is part of a full slate of campaign stops by Sanders in the run-up to the New York primary, including a star-studded rally in Washington Square Park on Wednesday, a debate with opponent Hillary Clinton at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on Thursday and another concert and rally in Long Island City planned for next Monday.

Last week, the presidential candidate held two public rallies in his home borough, at his childhood home in Midwood and at a park in Greenpoint.

The Prospect Park event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis; the campaign said an RSVP on their website is “strongly encouraged.”

Doors will open for the rally at 12 p.m. on Sunday. The music performance will begin at 3 p.m., organizers said.
